Happy Sunday!

How is it Sunday night already? What happened to this week?

Actually, I know exactly what happened to this week. All good things, but it really made the week fly by.

On Friday, the kids and I went to Kamakura. If you don’t know, we currently live in Japan. Kamakura is one of my favorite cities, and it was our first time back since returning to Japan. It was so nice to walk around and just be there. We got to revisit our go-to ramen shop, and we also found a little slice of Aloha life at a newly discovered Malasada place. That was an incredibly unexpected treat.

At some point I plan to incorporate photos in posts where applicable, but for now, if you are ever interested in seeing photos of our adventures you can find them on my Instagram account: @ thefracturedfish

We had a wonderful scout-filled weekend. It was shooting games for the Cub Scouts on Saturday, and today we got to join our Japanese Girl Scout sisters for a beach clean-up day and lunch.

One of the coolest things about participating with the Girl Scouts here is that we have so many opportunities to partner up with the Japanese Girl Scouts. I am really looking forward to the great intercultural experiences we will have with them while we are here.

Outside of that I don’t have anything major to write about at the moment, I just didn’t want to neglect the duty of writing. I can’t get back into the habit of blogging if I never practice doing it.

Cheers to a good week!
